The Exploding Parrot

The object slid off the bricks and rolled over. Then it began to tick like a clock.
Mr Gray’s face went white. ‘Run for it! Quick!’ he said. ‘It’s a bomb!’

One day, the bomb was discovered near Wolf Hill School. The bomb is a World War Two bomb. There is a possibility of exploding. All students and teachers took refuge at the sports center. Inhabitants living near the bomb also came to the sport center.
Suddenly, Najma’s mother remembered that she left their parrot behind. Soldiers went to Nasma’s house and tried catching the parrot, but they couldn’t catch it. The parrot flew away.
How was the bomb? And where was the parrot?
